History of a forged Friendship.

I knew Terrell since early 2000s I was recording a song for my Album at that time (I went by God's  Lyricist). I was recording a song at the time at the church we was going to when Stacey from Waterbury Ct came in with Terrell and his Brother Dwight. So while I was recording Terrell liked what I was saying and the track so I let him and his brother record  their verses on the track called Talking to these streets. And from there me and Terrell  formed a friendship. We used to call them the Waterbury  Crew lol every Saturday we would meet at one of our friends house and just fellowship til early morning time. It was atleast 10 of us Lol they used to be mad at us at the church saying y'all  shouldn't  be out so late, ( like we were some kids) mind you we were in our early 20s. This was also the time were CHH was frowned upon by the Black churches not all but the ones with mostly older Religious saints. I got engaged  to my wife Sophia Christmas of 2005 in which he was groomsmen (see Vblog for continuation of our friendship)

Inspiration Behind Motivation 

I came up with this concept while listening to the track, picturing myself running in a race for my life, so I came with the Chrous Gotta stay in the Race/ the finishline is your Motivation. Originally It was just gonna be me on the track, but then the lord placed on my Heart Terrell. He came through and didnt really like what he recorded at first , so what you hear is his verse redone.  I also received inspiration from Avengers Infinity war the part when Thanos was pounding on Ironman's Mask, and last but not least 1john 1:7. So that's it.

MY 7TH Single to date dropped on Sept 1st 2018.

I HATE YOU is a very personal song, the subject matter alone is intense. But before I get into the details let me explain how the whole song came together.

I was at my good Christian Brother Tuu B house on a Thursday as we always meet and talk about Music, God and Family. I was telling him that I wanted to do a song called I HATE U, so I  started to recite the Chrous, as he was listening he was piecing together the Track to I hate you right there on the spot. As you can hear the track was well produced.

Rewriting I HATE YOU

I hate you was rewritten, the 1st time I wrote it there were 3 verses, but when I sent the rough draft to Tuu he explained to me that not only were the verses not getting to a clear point but that the song was too long. So while we were meeting, I started the process of taking pieces from each verse and putting the best parts together.

Inspiration behind I HATE YOU

The Inspiration came from  a number of sources, 1 being an CHH Artist by the name of David Gauge Veira song "Death Did Us Part" Another Inspiration came from my trails and heartache in 2017. I now realize that with my past sins I didn't fully let go of them, instead I was still dipping and dabbing in them. Pain evetually brought my deliverance.

Who is I HATE YOU  directed to?

I hate you wasn't directed towards a person but toward my past addiction to Sex and Porn. At 1st I was afraid of the ridicule I would receive or be an stumbling Block for some. But being lead by God to do sound also I wanted to share the effects this type of Addiction have and how it not only effects  you but those who love and care for you when its not dealt with. The main reason some stay addicted is because of the guilt and pleasure behind it. The truth is I almost lost my family behind this Addiction.
